About Bright Smiles

How does Bright Smiles work?

Once a dentist volunteers for the program, 'Bright Smiles' will liaise with a charity in the dentist's local area, seeking their help to identify a local child in need of treatment. Most of the children are being sourced from families that are being helped by The Salvation Army (TSA). Bright Smiles will then liaise with the dentist and the charity to ensure that the child gets the treatment they need at no cost.

PLEASE NOTE:  The program does not accept nominations directly from the public.

Dentists!
Sydney dentist Nick Hocking kicked off Bright Smiles by treating Jerson and Caleb Hidalgo

To help kids in need, we need hundreds of dentists from across Australia to volunteer their time. The level of commitment is up to the practitioner. Please consider getting involved, and give a kid a smile! Click here to find out how your dental surgery can get involved.
